Soccer Used To Be My Least Favorite Sport

Today I purchased a share of a European football club (or soccer club) along with my fellow co-worker. We are really excited about owning a European football club. This responsibility includes voting on numerous decisions such as players, coaches, and team apparel. Each owner (about 30,000 of them) gets one vote on every issue. I can renew my ownership in another year.

This is a great opportunity for us, since we work in the sporting industry. This experience will help us make decisions at the present time and in the future. I will be able to understand what is required in order for an organization to be successful (along with my current work experience).

If anybody knows the rules of soccer, feel free give me a crash course at any time.

One trip to Costa Rica will give you all the insight and first hand observation of the rules of soccer. Just go to any town and you will find a soccer field as the centerpiece of activity. The kids learn the game at a very early age and they can be seen every weekend demonstrating their skills.
